Job Description

To assist the Registrar in the matters relating to the Affiliated Institutes of the University. These services include conduct of the meetings of Affiliation Committee and Heads of Affiliates, dealing and correspondence with Affiliated Institutes and coordination with university’s departments on issues related to the Affiliated Institutes.

1. To ensures that Admission, Registration and Examination in Affiliated Institutes are being conducted in time in accordance to the University
Regulations.
2. Correspondence with the Affiliated Institutes on the behalf of Registrar.
3. Mediation between the University Faculties and the Affiliated Institutes on curricula development, Transfer of Credit Hours and other Academic Affairs.
4. Liaison with University’s Finance Department and Affiliated Institutes
regarding payables of the Institutes.
5. Coordination between Examination Branch and Affiliated Institutes for
conduct of smooth examination.
6. To hold meetings of Affiliation Committee of the University.
7. To hold meetings of the Heads of Affiliated Institutes.
8. Preparation, updation and implementation of the SOPs related to the
affiliation matters.
9. Planning and conduct of Inspection Visits to the Affiliated Institutes.
10. Collection of Academic and Infrastructural Reports from the Affiliated Institutes.
11. Maintaining the student-wise data of the Affiliated Institutes.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assistance in conduct of convocation
2. Assistance to the Coordination Branch in preparation of University Reports for Regulatory Bodies
3. Coordination in arrangement of overseas tours of the Vice Chancellor
4. Offering services to the VC Office in drafting Arabic and Urdu letters/ presentations
5. Scheduling and conduct of morning Dars i Quraan in the University Secretariat
