What you’ll be doing

Role overview

We are seeking a Business Development Executive to manage the Upwork pipeline end-to-end:

  • Identify high-quality opportunities on freelancing platforms (Upwork) and filter for .NET, full-stack, and related software projects
  • Write tailored, personalized proposals (no copy-paste templates)
  • Manage first-touch client communication and qualify leads for scope, budget, and fit
  • Book discovery calls and coordinate with technical team on scoping and pricing
  • Manage connects budget and boosted-proposal strategy
  • Maintain a clean CRM pipeline and report weekly on bids, replies, interviews, and closes
  • Consistently follow up with prospects and help grow Job Success Score and profile strength

What we’re looking for

  • Experience managing freelancing platform profiles (Upwork) and pipelines
  • Proven ability to identify and qualify .NET and full-stack software opportunities
  • Strong proposal writing skills; ability to create personalized, client-specific proposals
  • Experience managing connects budget and proposal-boosting strategies on Upwork
  • Client communication and qualification (scope, budget, fit)
  • Experience booking discovery calls and coordinating with technical teams on scoping and pricing
  • CRM pipeline management and weekly reporting of bids, replies, interviews, and closes
  • Familiarity with Job Success Score (JSS) and Top Rated status on freelancing platforms
  • Experience with LinkedIn outreach, Clutch, or direct B2B email is a plus
