What you'll be doing

Young Learners Incubation is an education-management organization based in Lahore delivering a STEAM education program for children aged 5 to 13. We create hands-on learning experiences that combine science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics to build skills, creativity and confidence.

Role: The Teacher/Assistant Teacher will deliver age-appropriate STEAM lessons, run experiments safely, and support a positive classroom culture aligned with our curriculum and learning outcomes. Internships available for final-year university students.

Responsibilities include:

Plan and deliver interactive STEAM lessons for groups of children (5 to 13) using project-based and inquiry-led approaches.
Prepare materials and set up experiments and hands-on activities, ensuring safety and engagement.
Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and adapt activities for varying ability levels.
Manage classroom behaviour, maintain clear routines, and foster curiosity, collaboration and a growth mindset.
Assess student progress through observations, informal assessments and portfolio work; provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
Collaborate with program coordinators to refine lesson plans, report on outcomes, and contribute to curriculum development.
Maintain a clean, safe learning environment; follow safeguarding and child-protection policies and procedures.

Location: Bahria Town, Lahore

Hours: 9:00 am3:00 pm (MondaySaturday). Days may change.

Notes: This is an on-site role in Lahore. Professional development opportunities and lesson resources are provided to support instructional quality and career growth.

What we're looking for

Experience teaching children aged 513, with familiarity in STEAM, science experiments or project-based learning.
Strong classroom management skills; ability to maintain safety during experiments and hands-on activities.
Lesson planning and ability to differentiate instruction for mixed-ability groups.
Good verbal communication skills for explaining concepts to children and communicating with parents.
Creative problem-solving, patience, and the ability to motivate and engage young learners.
Basic assessment skills: observation, formative feedback, and portfolio documentation.
Organizational skills for preparing materials, managing time during sessions, and maintaining records.
Familiarity with child-safeguarding best practices and implementing classroom safety protocols.
