Role Description (Part-Time, Remote)

We are seeking a part-time content writer to join our team remotely. Candidates based in Pakistan are encouraged to apply.

In this role, you will report to the Head of Content and Creative Strategy and the Senior Journalist and Editor.

Responsibilities

• Research industry news and developments, with a focus on U.S. banking (traditional and digital), the fintech sector, and digital assets and crypto markets
• Conduct virtual interviews with C-suite executives and industry leaders
• Develop strong, insight-led narratives based on primary and secondary research
• Produce original reporting and analysis-driven stories that examine key developments, trends, and structural shifts across the financial services industry
• Write podcast summaries, whitepapers, and guides, and produce copy for social media promotion

Eligibility Criteria

• Proven ability in reporting and writing; producing clear and engaging articles under deadlines, with at least one year of experience
• Proficiency in business journalism and familiarity with financial industry terminology
• Analytical skills to interpret financial data and identify trends and insights
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivation and the ability to work effectively in a remote environment
• Experience with digital reporting and publishing tools; Canva experience is a plus
