What you’ll be doing
Opulux Services Pvt. Ltd., an architecture and planning firm in Lahore, is seeking a skilled AutoCAD Designer to join the Lahore office (near UCP). The role supports project teams by producing accurate 2D technical drawings and translating client sketches, scanned plans and emailed requirements into production-ready drawings. Responsibilities include: creating plans, elevations, sections and detail drawings with accurate dimensions; maintaining organized CAD files, layer standards and annotations; revising drawings with version control; coordinating with architects and engineers to resolve technical queries; and preparing drawing sets for printing and digital submission in compliance with firm standards.
What we’re looking for
- Must-have: Proficient in AutoCAD 2D drafting; ability to produce floor plans, elevations, sections and detail drawings.
- CAD standards: Strong understanding of CAD layering, annotation, dimensioning, and line weights for construction documentation.
- Interpretation: Able to read and interpret sketches, scanned plans, PDFs and written client instructions.
- File management: Good organizational skills for file management, version control, and maintaining drawing standards.
- Accuracy: Attention to detail in measurements, scaling and layout.
- Communication: Clear written and verbal communication to clarify client requirements and coordinate internally.
- Workload: Ability to work within deadlines, handle revisions, and manage multiple drawing tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge: Basic knowledge of architectural drawing conventions and local drafting practices.
