Role summary
The Controller Dispatcher will join the transport operations team to ensure timely, accurate dispatching while maintaining data security and customer experience standards. The role reports to the Operations Lead and collaborates with drivers, client account managers, and QA teams.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor inbound trip requests and assign jobs through Autocab 365 and iCabbi, optimizing for ETA, driver availability, and SLAs.
- Coordinate real-time updates between drivers, passengers, and client platforms; manage cancellations, delays, and route changes.
- Maintain accurate trip logs and system records; ensure data integrity and compliance with security policies.
- Escalate operational incidents to supervisors and participate in root-cause analysis for recurring issues.
- Continuously track KPIs and prepare concise shift reports.
What we’re looking for
- Must-have: Hands-on experience operating Autocab 365, iCabbi, or similar taxi dispatch platforms.
- Proficiency with dashboard, booking, and status modules.
- Real-time fleet coordination: assigning trips, rerouting, handling cancellations.
- Communication: liaising with drivers, passengers, and international clients via phone and messaging.
- Analytical skills: monitor KPIs, detect trends, prepare shift reports.
- Familiarity with mapping/GPS tools; interpret ETA and route efficiency data.
- Attention to detail for trip logging, record-keeping, and data protection procedures.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, make quick decisions, and escalate incidents appropriately.
- Preferred: Certification or coursework in fleet management or center operations.
