Manage warehouse operations, inventory control, and material handling for production and distribution. Maintain accurate stock records, ensure availability of parts and finished goods for manufacturing and dispatch, and implement safe storage practices.

Manage warehouse operations, inventory control, and material handling for production and distribution. Maintain accurate stock records, ensure availability of parts and finished goods for manufacturing and dispatch, and implement safe storage practices.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day store operations including receiving, inspection, labeling, storage, and issuance of materials and finished goods.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using company systems; perform regular cycle counts and full stock reconciliations to minimize discrepancies.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, and sales teams to ensure timely availability of spare parts, raw materials, and dispatch schedules.
- Manage material movements, bin allocations, and first-in-first-out (FIFO) stock rotation to reduce obsolescence and damage.
- Supervise store staff: assign duties, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with safety and housekeeping standards.
- Prepare periodic inventory and stock status reports for management, flagging shortages and excesses.
What we’re looking for
Must-have:
- Proven experience in store/warehouse management within manufacturing, machinery, or industrial parts environments.
- Strong inventory control skills: cycle counts, reconciliation, and stock reporting.
- Familiarity with warehouse layout, material handling, labeling, packing, and FIFO procedures.
- Basic proficiency with inventory or ERP systems and MS Excel for reporting and analysis.
- Supervisory experience: staff scheduling, training, and performance monitoring.
- Knowledge of safety, storage, and handling requirements for mechanical components and heavy parts.
- Good communication and coordination with procurement, production, and sales teams.
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records under pressure.
