Overview:
Teleport Manpower Consultants seeks a Rope Access Technician Level 1 to perform rope-access tasks for industrial maintenance, inspection, cleaning, and basic repairs at client sites in Islamabad. The role reports to site supervisors and must follow company and site safety rules and permit-to-work systems.

Teleport Manpower Consultants seeks a Rope Access Technician Level 1 to perform rope-access tasks for industrial maintenance, inspection, cleaning, and basic repairs at client sites in Islamabad. The role reports to site supervisors and must follow company and site safety rules and permit-to-work systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform rope-access work at height under supervision, including inspections, cleaning, sealing, and basic repairs.
- Set up, inspect, and dismantle rope-access systems and associated equipment per procedures.
- Follow site-specific permits, confined-space and fall-protection procedures; use PPE at all times.
- Assist lead technicians with rigging, moving tools and materials, and maintaining clear job-site communication.
- Report defects, unsafe conditions, and incidents immediately to supervisors and complete required paperwork.
- Maintain and carry out routine checks on equipment.
What we’re looking for
Must-have:
- Valid IRATA Level 1 or SPRAT-equivalent rope access certification (or verifiable training and experience).
- Practical experience with single-point and twin-rope systems, knots, anchors, and basic rigging.
- Familiarity with fall-arrest and fall-restraint systems, harnesses, lanyards, and connectors.
- Ability to perform basic inspection and visual checks of ropes, hardware, and PPE to industry standards.
- Comfort working at heights; good physical fitness and balance.
- Basic hand-tool skills for minor repairs, sealing, cleaning, and surface preparation.
- Ability to follow written procedures and communicate clearly with team members and supervisors.
- Willingness to work on industrial sites and follow client-specific access and permit-to-work systems.
