We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join project teams delivering medium- to large-scale civil infrastructure projects (roads, water, power, solar, stadiums, water supply & sewerage). The role focuses on cost control, contract administration and timely financial reporting.

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join project teams delivering medium- to large-scale civil infrastructure projects (roads, water, power, solar, stadiums, water supply & sewerage). The role focuses on cost control, contract administration and timely financial reporting.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed BOQs, take-offs and material estimates from drawings and specifications
- Measure quantities on-site and from design documents to support tendering and variation assessments
- Prepare cost estimates, budget reconciliations and cash flow projections for project milestones
- Assess and evaluate contractor claims, variations, change orders and extensions of time; produce substantiated recommendations
- Administer contracts and ensure compliance with terms, conditions and procurement procedures
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers and procurement to monitor costs, reduce waste and identify value engineering opportunities
- Maintain accurate, auditable records and reports
What we’re looking for
Must have:
Preferred:
- 3+ years' experience in civil/infrastructure quantity surveying (roads, water, power)
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience preparing BOQs, take-offs and detailed cost estimates
- Knowledge of standard measurement methods (e.g., SMM or locally accepted standards)
- Experience with contract administration, valuation of variations and preparing interim/final accounts
- Competence with quantity surveying software and MS Office (especially Excel for cost analysis and cash flow modelling)
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and schedules
- Familiarity with procurement processes, subcontract management and payment certification
Preferred:
- Professional certification (e.g., PQS or relevant local accreditation)
