GetChainVerse is hiring a Blockchain Developer to join a multidisciplinary project team in Islamabad to design and implement blockchain-based solutions for cross-border trade, provenance tracking, and regulatory compliance. The role reports to the technical lead and works with policy analysts, supply-chain specialists and external partners.

GetChainVerse is hiring a Blockchain Developer to join a multidisciplinary project team in Islamabad to design and implement blockchain-based solutions for cross-border trade, provenance tracking, and regulatory compliance. The role reports to the technical lead and works with policy analysts, supply-chain specialists and external partners.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop and deploy smart contracts and backend services for permissioned and permissionless blockchain networks.
- Implement integration layers between blockchain platforms and existing trade systems, APIs and databases.
- Write clean, well-documented code and unit/integration tests; conduct code reviews and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, propose architecture and estimate delivery timelines.
- Ensure security best practices for key management, transactions and data privacy; participate in threat assessments.
- Deploy and operate services using containerization and orchestration tools; support system debugging and performance tuning.
What we’re looking for
Must-have
Preferred
- 3+ years relevant experience developing blockchain applications.
- Smart contract development experience (Solidity, Rust or equivalent) and deployment to Ethereum-compatible or other blockchain platforms.
- Backend development with Node.js, Go, Python or Java; experience building REST/GraphQL APIs.
- Familiarity with permissioned ledger frameworks (Hyperledger Fabric, Corda) and consensus mechanisms.
- Knowledge of cryptography fundamentals, key management and transaction signing.
- Practical experience with Web3 tooling: Truffle, Hardhat, Ethers.js or Web3.js and testing frameworks.
- Experience integrating blockchains with Postgres or MongoDB and message queues.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for deployment.
Preferred
- Automated testing, CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible).
- Experience with chain explorers, performance tuning, and secure coding practices.
- Relevant blockchain certifications or demonstrable project portfolio.
