What you’ll be doing

Role overview:
Manage international supplier identification, evaluation and procurement for APIs, finished dosage forms, excipients and packaging materials. Work with Procurement/Commercial lead and coordinate with Regulatory Affairs, Quality and Commercial teams to ensure compliant, cost-effective and timely supply.

Role overview:
Manage international supplier identification, evaluation and procurement for APIs, finished dosage forms, excipients and packaging materials. Work with Procurement/Commercial lead and coordinate with Regulatory Affairs, Quality and Commercial teams to ensure compliant, cost-effective and timely supply.
Key responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate and develop international suppliers and manufacturers for APIs, finished pharmaceutical products, excipients and packaging materials.
- Source pharmaceutical products from international markets aligned with commercial and strategic objectives.
- Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, MOQs, lead times, payment terms and supply agreements with overseas suppliers.
- Build and maintain business relationships with international manufacturers, exporters and distributors.
- Coordinate with Regulatory Affairs and Quality to ensure sourced products comply with DRAP and applicable international regulatory requirements.
- Conduct market intelligence and analyze global pharmaceutical trends, supplier capabilities, pricing and emerging sourcing opportunities.
- Evaluate supplier performance on quality and delivery and manage supplier performance.
What we’re looking for
- 5 to 7 years international sourcing/procurement experience in pharmaceuticals or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of APIs, finished dosage forms, excipients and packaging materials sourcing.
- Experience negotiating international commercial terms, MOQs, lead times and supply agreements.
- Familiarity with DRAP regulations and international regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical imports.
- Supplier evaluation and performance management including quality and delivery oversight.
- Market research and analytical skills to track global pricing and trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills; ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.
