Video Maker / Video Editor

Poundland Wholesale seeks a skilled Video Maker/Video Editor to join the marketing and content team. This role produces high-quality video content to support product promotion, social media engagement, internal communications, and sales presentations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Produce end-to-end video projects: concept development, storyboarding, shooting (when required), editing, color grading, sound design, motion graphics, and final delivery in multiple formats for web and social platforms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders: interpret briefs from marketing and sales, propose creative approaches, and incorporate feedback while maintaining deadlines and brand consistency.
• Manage content library: organize raw footage, assets, and final masters; maintain archive with clear naming and metadata for easy retrieval.
• Optimize videos: prepare platform-specific formats, aspect ratios, codecs, and compression settings for web and social delivery.
• Support in-house shoots: camera operation, lighting, audio recording, and basic production setup when required.

Must-have:

• Editing: Proven experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Motion graphics: After Effects or equivalent for titles, lower thirds, and simple animations.
• Production: Camera operation, framing, lighting, on-set audio recording.
• Post-production: Color grading, basic audio mixing, codecs, bitrates, compression techniques.
• Social media: Knowledge of platform formats, aspect ratios, and engagement best practices.
• Workflow: Storyboarding, organized file management, metadata tagging, cloud storage, version control.
• Collaboration: Work with marketing, product, and sales stakeholders and incorporate feedback efficiently.
