Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Engineering Manager to support GCC operations. The role involves managing technical proposals, vendor coordination, solution development, and engineering support for enterprise IT, telecommunications, networking, cybersecurity, data center, and ELV projects. The position is on-site in Lahore with remote collaboration across the region.
Key Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced IT Engineering Manager to support GCC operations. The role involves managing technical proposals, vendor coordination, solution development, and engineering support for enterprise IT, telecommunications, networking, cybersecurity, data center, and ELV projects. The position is on-site in Lahore with remote collaboration across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Support engineering activities across GCC operations
- Review RFQs, RFPs, and tender specifications
- Develop technical solutions and compliance documents
- Coordinate with international and local technology vendors
- Prepare technical BOQs, compliance matrices, and solution documentation
- Support presales activities and customer technical discussions
- Review project designs before submission
- Assist project teams during execution for technical clarifications
- Maintain engineering standards and documentation
- Support remote engineering activities for multiple countries simultaneously
What we’re looking for
Must-have
Preferred
- Strong understanding of enterprise networking
- Knowledge of servers, storage, virtualization, cybersecurity, cloud, and data center infrastructure
- Experience preparing technical proposals and interpreting tender specifications
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
- Experience working with multinational vendors
- Ability to prepare technical BOQs and compliance matrices
Preferred
- 710 years relevant experience (posting lists 5 years experience and career level as Student appears inconsistent)
- GCC project experience highly preferred
- Experience with government tenders is an advantage
- Familiarity with Cisco, Microsoft, VMware, Fortinet, Dell, HPE, Huawei, Palo Alto, Vertiv, APC or equivalent technologies
