What you’ll be doing
About the role:
- Support daily operations of an agriculture and fertilizer retail shop in Swabi (on-site).
- Advise walk-in farmers and smallholders on fertilizer, seed, and agri-input product selection.
- Receive, inspect and record incoming stock; maintain accurate sales and inventory records.
- Perform loading and unloading of fertilizer bags and other physical shop duties using safe handling practices for agri-chemical products.
- Use a laptop/computer for data entry and maintain records in Microsoft Excel.
- Work a 10-hour day, six days per week (morning shift).
What we’re looking for
Must-have:
Preferred:
- Practical knowledge of fertilizers, seeds, and common agri-input products and their uses.
- Physically fit; able to load/unload fertilizer bags and perform manual shop tasks safely.
- Basic computer skills; comfort using a laptop and Microsoft Excel for data entry and records.
- Good customer service and communication skills for advising farmers.
- Basic numeracy and literacy for billing and stock logs.
- Dependable and able to work 10 hours/day, 6 days/week.
Preferred:
- Previous experience in an agriculture, fertilizer, seed, or agri-input shop (1+ years).
- Familiarity with local farming practices and seasonal demand patterns.
