ITFIX is seeking a results-driven Web Developer to improve customer-facing and internal web applications that support network reliability and operational workflows. The developer will work with operations, field-service and support teams to deliver performant, secure and maintainable web solutions.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop, test and maintain modern web applications and internal dashboards using front-end and back-end technologies
- Collaborate with product owners, network operations and support engineers to translate requirements into user-friendly interfaces and APIs
- Write clean, well-documented code and unit/integration tests; participate in code reviews
- Optimize application performance, accessibility and cross-browser compatibility; implement responsive design
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes and automated build/test workflows
- Troubleshoot production issues, analyze logs and metrics, and implement fixes or mitigations
- Ensure security best practices are followed
What we’re looking for
Must-have:
- HTML5, CSS3, modern JavaScript (ES6+)
- Experience with a major front-end framework: React, Vue, or Angular
- Back-end development with Node.js, Python (Django/Flask) or PHP and RESTful API design
- Relational databases: PostgreSQL or MySQL; familiarity with NoSQL
- Version control with Git; branching workflows and code review practices
- CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) and containerization (Docker)
- Web security principles (OWASP), authentication/authorization (JWT, OAuth)
- Monitoring and debugging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry or similar)
- Responsive design, performance optimization and accessibility standards
- 2+ years practical web development experience
