Role Summary:
- Assess students' sensory, fine motor, gross motor, self-care, attention, and functional needs.
- Prepare individualized therapy plans and goals.
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions.
- Support classroom participation and adapt activities for accessibility.
- Provide guidance to teachers and parents on strategies and carryover activities.
- Maintain accurate progress records and documentation.
- Work collaboratively with the school's multidisciplinary team.
What we’re looking for
Must-have:
Preferred:
- Relevant qualification in Occupational Therapy.
- Minimum 2 years of experience; school-based experience preferred.
- Experience assessing and treating children with developmental, sensory, motor, and behavioural needs.
- Ability to design and implement intervention plans and maintain progress records.
- Experience working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
Preferred:
- Experience with autism, ADHD, developmental delays, sensory processing difficulties, cerebral palsy, or learning difficulties.
- Experience in inclusive education settings.
