Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, student-centered lessons.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.
- Monitor student progress and maintain academic records.
- Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials.
- Assess students regularly and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student learning.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development sessions.
- Maintain classroom discipline and uphold school policies.
What we’re looking for
Must-have
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Development, Social Sciences or equivalent experience.
- Strong communication skills.
- Classroom management skills.
- Passion for working with children and promoting active learning.
- Basic computer skills.
Preferred
- Certificate in teaching or community facilitation.
- Experience with trauma-informed teaching practices.
- Prior teaching or facilitation experience (advantage).
