DevCore System is seeking a creative, energetic, and detail-oriented Video Editor Intern to produce high-impact video content for social media, promotional materials, ad creatives, and client projects. The role involves end-to-end content creation from concept to final delivery, with a focus on short-form and vertical formats.

Overview:
DevCore System is seeking a creative, energetic, and detail-oriented Video Editor Intern to produce high-impact video content for social media, promotional materials, ad creatives, and client projects. The role involves end-to-end content creation from concept to final delivery, with a focus on short-form and vertical formats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Brainstorm concepts, structure light visual scripts, source assets, and assemble complete videos from scratch
- Edit short-form vertical content (9:16) for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and paid Meta ad campaigns
- Perform post-production: trim footage, add dynamic transitions, captions (auto/custom), SFX, background music, and color correction
- Incorporate motion graphics: logo overlays, animated text, lower thirds, and brand assets
- Sync edits to beats, balance voiceovers with music, and apply basic sound design
- Apply basic VFX: keyframing, speed ramping, green-screen/background removal, and smooth text/object animations
- Stay updated with viral editing trends, trending audio, and hook-focused pacing
What we’re looking for
Must-have:
Preferred:
- Hands-on experience with CapCut (Desktop/Mobile), Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Adobe After Effects
- Creative storytelling and the ability to turn minimal direction into cohesive video narratives
- Social media literacy: pacing, aspect ratios (9:16 vs 16:9), hook strategy (first 3 seconds), and text placement for mobile
- Ability to sync cuts to beat markers and perform basic audio/sound design
- Basic motion/visual effects skills: keyframing, speed ramping, green-screen/background removal, animated text
- Good communication, time management, receptiveness to feedback, and self-motivation
Preferred:
- Strong demo reel or portfolio; self-taught editors with quality work encouraged to apply
