We are a family-run handmade carpet business preparing to launch an online presence. The role involves setting up and managing a Shopify store, editing product images and videos, and handling social media accounts to build and maintain a clean, professional, easy-to-manage online store.

About the Role
We are a family-run handmade carpet business preparing to launch an online presence. The role involves setting up and managing a Shopify store, editing product images and videos, and handling social media accounts to build and maintain a clean, professional, easy-to-manage online store.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up a Shopify website from scratch using a suitable theme
- Create and organize homepage, product pages and collection pages
- Create About Us, Contact Us, FAQ and policy pages
- Upload products with accurate sizes, prices, images and descriptions
- Set up basic payment, shipping and currency options
- Edit product photographs and videos for online use
- Create and schedule social media content and manage accounts
- Monitor basic store performance and report issues
- Work during UK hours and maintain reliable online availability
What we’re looking for
Must-have:
Preferred:
- Previous experience working with Shopify
- Basic understanding of website setup and management
- Social media content creation and management
- Photo and video editing skills
- Experience with Canva, Photoshop, PhotoRoom or similar software
- Good written English
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Reliable internet connection and availability during UK working hours
Preferred:
- Experience with product photography for e-commerce
- Familiarity with Shopify themes and apps
