We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Node.js Developer for a remote contract engagement supporting backend services, worker infrastructure and lightweight frontend. This role is remote and open to candidates located in Pakistan.

We are an independent software company building AI-powered SaaS products for text, photo and video processing. We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Node.js Developer for a remote contract engagement supporting backend services, worker infrastructure and lightweight frontend. This role is remote and open to candidates located in Pakistan.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain Node.js/Express backend services and REST APIs with routing, error handling and performance optimization.
- Develop and maintain PostgreSQL schema changes and migrations; write efficient queries and tune indexes.
- Implement and support background job queues and worker infrastructure, such as Bull, Bee-Queue or similar.
- Use Redis for caching, pub/sub and rate limiting.
- Integrate webhooks and third-party APIs, including payments and provider routing.
- Implement automated testing, including unit and integration tests, and follow TDD and CI/CD practices.
- Maintain observability through logging and error monitoring for production services.
- Work in GitHub using PR workflows, branch protection and code review; collaborate with AI-assisted tooling as needed.
- Implement lightweight frontend.
