AbdeensAcademy is looking for reliable online Qur'an, Tajweed and Hifdh teachers for flexible remote part-time and back-up opportunities.
Selection and onboarding
A mandatory two-week unpaid onboarding, assessment and observation period is part of the selection process. During these two weeks, candidates will not be independently assigned student lessons or productive operational duties. After the two weeks, AbdeensAcademy makes a separate final yes-or-no decision.
Pay and hours
Only after approval, the fixed rate is exactly EUR 5.00 per verified teaching hour. Hours are not guaranteed and there is no guaranteed monthly salary. More verified teaching hours may become available as the Academy grows, based on teaching quality, reliability and student demand.

What we’re looking for
- Must-have:
Strong practical Qur'an recitation, Tajweed and makharij
Verifiable Hifdh, Tajweed, Qur'an-teaching or ijazah qualifications, or equivalent verified experience - Preferred:
At least one year of relevant teaching experience
Proven online teaching experience with children and/or adults
Confident spoken English; Arabic is an advantage
Reliable availability compatible with Europe/Amsterdam scheduling
Stable internet with a back-up connection
Laptop/desktop, HD camera, clear microphone/headset and a quiet teaching space
Willingness to complete the live assessment, teaching demonstration, reference checks and mandatory two-week unpaid onboarding, assessment and observation period, without independently assigned student lessons or productive operational duties
Willingness to follow the official Academy calendar, check-in and quality rules after approval
