What you’ll be doing
Company: Pharma Care Pack, pharmaceutical packaging company in Korangi, Karachi.
Role summary:
Lead daily production operations for plastic pharmaceutical packaging lines, ensuring product quality, cGMP compliance and on-time delivery. Work with Quality Assurance, Maintenance and Supply Chain to meet production targets and continuous improvement goals.

Lead daily production operations for plastic pharmaceutical packaging lines, ensuring product quality, cGMP compliance and on-time delivery. Work with Quality Assurance, Maintenance and Supply Chain to meet production targets and continuous improvement goals.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end production for multiple packaging lines to meet planned output, quality standards and delivery schedules.
- Manage production planning and scheduling to optimize throughput, minimize downtime and maintain inventory targets.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP and industry-specific quality and safety regulations applicable to pharmaceutical packaging.
- Lead and develop staff including supervisors and operators: hiring, training, performance management and shift coordination.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (lean manufacturing, waste reduction, OEE improvement) and implement corrective actions from quality incidents.
- Coordinate maintenance and reliability activities to reduce breakdowns and ensure equipment qualification and preventive maintenance programs.
What we’re looking for
- Minimum 5 years of production supervision/management experience in plastics manufacturing, packaging, or pharmaceutical-related production environments.
- Proven knowledge of injection molding, extrusion, thermoforming, or related plastics processes and production equipment.
- Strong understanding of cGMP, quality systems, and regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical packaging.
- Experience with production planning, capacity scheduling and MRP/ERP systems.
- Ability to analyze production data and KPIs (OEE, yield, scrap) and implement corrective actions.
- Hands-on experience with preventive maintenance coordination and equipment qualification programs.
- Leadership skills to lead multi-shift teams, train operators and improve team performance.
- Proficiency with MS Excel and basic reporting tools.
