What you’ll be doing
Creative Grammar High School, a community-focused private school in Lahore serving Preschool through Matric, seeks a dedicated English Teacher for Grades 4 6. The successful candidate will join a collaborative faculty committed to delivering affordable, high-quality education in a respectful, student-centred environment. You will design and deliver engaging lessons aligned to the school syllabus, support literacy development, and foster a positive classroom culture for learners from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds.

- Plan and deliver age-appropriate English lessons for Grades 4 6 using varied instructional strategies.
- Develop lesson plans, worksheets, and formative assessments to monitor reading, writing, grammar, and speaking skills.
- Create a classroom environment that encourages participation, critical thinking, and respect among students.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and provide targeted support for struggling learners.
- Assess student progress regularly, maintain accurate records, and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum and participate in departmental planning and professional development.
- Support school activities and parent-teacher engagements.

- Strong command of English grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and writing mechanics appropriate for upper-primary learners.
- Experience planning structured lesson plans with clear objectives, learning outcomes, and assessment strategies.
- Classroom management skills for students aged 9 12.
- Ability to differentiate instruction and create scaffolded activities for mixed-ability groups.
- Proficiency in designing formative and summative assessments and using results to inform instruction.
- Clear verbal communication and the ability to give constructive, age-appropriate feedback to students and communicate progress to parents.
- Collaborative skills to work with grade-level colleagues and contribute to curriculum development.
Advantage:
- Familiarity with primary school curricula and experience with classroom technologies (projector, basic educational software).
