What you’ll be doing
Creative Grammar High School, a community-focused private school in Lahore serving Preschool to Matric, seeks a dedicated Science Teacher for Grades 4 6. The successful candidate will plan and deliver age-appropriate science lessons that build curiosity, foundational scientific knowledge, and practical inquiry skills, while supporting inclusive classroom management and collaboration with colleagues and parents.

- Design and deliver engaging, standards-aligned science lessons for Grades 4 6, incorporating hands-on activities and demonstrations.
- Develop lesson plans with clear learning objectives, assessment criteria, and differentiated tasks to meet diverse learner needs.
- Create and supervise simple classroom experiments and demonstrations, ensuring safety and proper use of materials.
- Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments; record grades and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning climate that supports emotional and academic development.
- Prepare and maintain student records, report cards, and progress tracking.
What we’re looking for
Required skills and competencies:
- Strong knowledge of elementary science topics (life, earth, physical sciences) and ability to simplify concepts for Grades 4 6.
- Lesson planning and curriculum mapping skills with experience creating age-appropriate, hands-on activities.
- Classroom management and behavior guidance techniques suitable for primary-age students.
- Assessment design: formative assessments, quizzes, practical task rubrics, and progress tracking.
- Ability to conduct safe, low-cost classroom experiments and manage basic laboratory/teaching materials.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Collaborative skills for working with grade teams and participation in school events and extracurricular programs.
- Basic IT skills for preparing teaching materials, presentations, and digital grade records (MS Word, PowerPoint, Google Classroom or equivalent).
