What you’ll be doing
Creative Grammar High School in Lahore seeks an enthusiastic Computer Teacher for Grades 3–8.
- Plan and deliver lesson plans for Grades 3–8 aligned with the school curriculum and learning outcomes.
- Teach basic computer operation, typing, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), internet research, and introductory coding concepts suitable for each grade level.
- Create hands-on, project-based activities and assessments to develop practical skills and problem-solving.
- Differentiate instruction to accommodate varied skill levels and learning needs; provide extra support for students who need it.
- Maintain a safe and responsible digital-use culture; teach online safety, privacy, and responsible digital citizenship.
- Use formative and summative assessments to track student progress and record grades.
What we’re looking for
- Experience teaching primary and middle school students (Grades 3–8) and adapting content for young learners.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), basic typing skills, and file management.
- Familiarity with introductory block-based or text-based coding (e.g., Scratch, Python basics) appropriate for ages 8–14.
- Ability to design project-based learning activities and age-appropriate assessments.
- Classroom management skills and experience differentiating instruction for mixed-ability groups.
- Good communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and colleagues; ability to prepare progress reports.
- Basic troubleshooting for common hardware/software issues and coordinating with technical support.
- Understanding of online safety, digital citizenship, and appropriate use of devices in school.
- Organizational skills for maintaining lesson plans, records, and classroom resources; punctuality and professional conduct.
