Vigour Med Store is seeking an experienced remote Accountant and Billing Specialist to support a U.S. healthcare distribution business, including Shopify eCommerce sales and B2B and government healthcare contracts.
Key Responsibilities
Vigour Med Store is seeking an experienced remote Accountant and Billing Specialist to support a U.S. healthcare distribution business, including Shopify eCommerce sales and B2B and government healthcare contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Generate and process customer invoices for B2B and government customers.
- Monitor customer aging reports and follow up on outstanding receivables.
- Monitor Shopify order records, payment receipts, and bank deposits, investigating and correcting discrepancies before month-end reporting.
- Process refunds, chargebacks, and payment discrepancies for customers.
- Record vendor invoices and manage payment schedules.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks Online.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax documentation.
What we’re looking for
Required Skills and Qualifications
Preferred
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience.
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience managing B2B invoicing, customer aging, and collections.
- Strong understanding of inventory accounting and financial reporting.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Preferred
- Experience with Shopify or other eCommerce platforms.
- Experience with U.S. accounting practices.
