What you’ll be doing
Codeguru builds custom software, AI automation, business process automation, web and mobile applications, and Microsoft Power Platform solutions. We are seeking a Software Engineer for a remote-capable role associated with Lahore. The successful candidate will contribute to reliable, scalable applications and collaborate with colleagues to develop high-quality digital products.

- Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and services.
- Translate functional requirements into clean, maintainable, and scalable technical solutions.
- Develop and integrate web, mobile, automation, and business process solutions as assigned.
- Investigate defects, improve application performance, and support production issue resolution.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, documentation, and agile delivery activities.
- Collaborate with product, design, and other engineering team members to deliver software solutions.
What we’re looking for
Required competencies
- Strong programming fundamentals, object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and debugging.
- Practical experience with at least one modern programming language and web or application development framework.
- Working knowledge of REST APIs, databases, version control, testing, and software development lifecycle practices.
- Ability to write readable, maintainable, secure, and well-documented code.
- Understanding of responsive application development, integration patterns, and performance considerations.
- Familiarity with cloud services, CI/CD, Microsoft Power Platform, AI automation, or mobile development is beneficial.
- Strong analytical thinking, communication, collaboration, ownership, and willingness to learn new technologies.
