We are seeking an International Student Counsellor to guide prospective and enrolled students through overseas education options, admissions processes and application requirements.
Responsibilities
- Assess students’ academic backgrounds, interests and career goals to recommend suitable international study options.
- Explain admission requirements, application timelines, program details and general visa documentation processes.
- Support students in preparing applications, personal statements, supporting documents and submission checklists.
- Maintain organized records of student enquiries, applications, follow-ups and outcomes.
- Coordinate with educational institutions and internal teams to obtain updates and resolve application-related issues.
- Conduct follow-ups with prospective students and provide timely updates throughout the counselling journey.
- Stay informed about changing admissions policies, institutional requirements and destination-specific education information.
What we’re looking for
- Knowledge of international education admissions, application procedures and student counselling practices.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Urdu.
- Ability to understand student goals and present suitable programs clearly and accurately.
- Competence in reviewing academic records, application forms and supporting documentation.
- Excellent follow-up, organization, record-keeping and time-management abilities.
- Professional stakeholder coordination skills when communicating with students, parents and institutions.
- Comfort using email, spreadsheets, document-management tools and customer or student databases.
- Ethical, detail-oriented and service-focused approach to counselling.
