Software Quality Assurance / SQA Analyst responsible for ensuring reliable, secure, and user-friendly digital products in a software development environment.
Responsibilities
- Review business and technical requirements to identify test scenarios, risks, and acceptance criteria.
- Prepare and maintain test plans, test cases, test data, and traceability documentation.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, usability, and exploratory testing for web and software applications.
- Record, prioritize, and track defects with clear reproduction steps, evidence, and impact details.
- Collaborate with developers to investigate issues, validate fixes, and support release readiness.
- Work with software developers, business analysts, and project stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.
What we’re looking for
- Hands-on experience testing web applications or software products across browsers and devices.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle, QA processes, defect life cycle, and testing methodologies.
- Ability to write clear, complete, and maintainable test cases based on requirements.
- Experience performing functional, regression, integration, system, usability, and exploratory testing.
- Proficiency with issue tracking and test management tools, including accurate defect reporting and follow-up.
- Basic knowledge of SQL, APIs, browser developer tools, and test data preparation is preferred.
- Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with developers and project teams while meeting testing deadlines.
