What you’ll be doing

FTS is seeking an experienced Surveyor Total Station for full-time, on-site work in Karachi. The role involves performing precise land and construction surveys, mechanical fabrication leveling-related work, and fieldwork using Total Station technology.

Responsibilities include collecting, measuring, analyzing, and validating spatial data; mapping topography; supporting site planning and development; and collaborating with technical teams on construction, engineering, and land development projects. The position requires travel and morning-shift availability.

What we’re looking for

Operate Total Station equipment for accurate land and construction surveys.
Collect, measure, and record spatial data, coordinates, and site information.
Perform calculations and adjustments to verify field-measurement accuracy and completeness.
Use survey data processing and analysis software to prepare survey reports.
Interpret topographical data for engineering, planning, and site-design projects.
Comply with safety regulations and quality standards.
Maintain and calibrate survey instruments.
Collaborate with project teams and provide survey data for decision-making and documentation.
Conduct field verification and resolve discrepancies between collected data and project specifications.
Prepare detailed documentation and maps based on survey results.
