The role involves understanding pilgrimage travel requirements, presenting suitable packages, and supporting customers throughout the booking process while representing the company professionally.

Alwafa International Travel & Tours Pvt Ltd is seeking an Umrah Sales and Marketing Representative in Karachi to promote and sell Umrah travel packages to customers across Pakistan. The role involves understanding pilgrimage travel requirements, presenting suitable packages, and supporting customers throughout the booking process while representing the company professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate leads through local outreach, referrals, digital channels, and travel-market networking.
- Explain Umrah packages, airfare, accommodation, transportation, visa documentation, and related services clearly.
- Respond to customer inquiries, assess travel needs, prepare quotations, and follow up on prospective bookings.
- Maintain accurate customer records, booking details, payment updates, and sales reports.
- Coordinate with operations and visa-processing teams to ensure timely and accurate customer service.
- Build relationships with individuals, families, groups, and institutional clients while meeting agreed sales targets.
- Stay informed about package availability, airline schedules, travel regulations, and changing customer requirements.
What we’re looking for
Required Skills
- 2 years of relevant experience in travel sales or Umrah services.
- Proven ability to sell travel packages and convert inquiries into confirmed bookings.
- Knowledge of Umrah packages, visa documentation, airline reservations, hotels, and ground transportation is preferred.
- Strong customer consultation, negotiation, presentation, and follow-up skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Urdu; additional local-language ability is an advantage.
- Comfortable using customer databases, spreadsheets, email, messaging platforms, and online research tools.
- Accurate record keeping, quotation preparation, payment tracking, and coordination with operations teams.
- Target-oriented, service-focused, organized, and capable of handling multiple customer cases under deadlines.
- Willingness to conduct local client visits, attend promotional activities, and develop referral networks.
