Master Plastic Pack Limited is seeking a Procurement Officer to support the timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials, supplies, and services for packaging operations in Gujranwala, Pakistan.
Responsibilities
- Identify suitable suppliers and obtain competitive quotations for materials and operational requirements.
- Prepare purchase orders and coordinate approvals in line with company procedures.
- Compare pricing, specifications, lead times, and payment terms before making purchasing recommendations.
- Follow up on orders, monitor deliveries, and coordinate with stores, production, accounts, and suppliers to resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier information, order status, and supporting documentation.
- Assist with supplier evaluations, negotiations, inventory planning, and cost-control initiatives.
- Help ensure purchased items meet approved specifications and quality expectations.
What we’re looking for
- Practical experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain coordination.
- Ability to source suppliers, request quotations, compare commercial offers, and support negotiations.
- Knowledge of purchase orders, delivery follow-ups, goods receipt coordination, and procurement documentation.
- Understanding of inventory requirements, material specifications, quality checks, and cost control.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and routine purchasing or enterprise software.
- Strong communication and relationship-management skills for dealing with suppliers and internal departments.
- Excellent organization, numerical accuracy, follow-through, and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of packaging, printing, manufacturing, or industrial materials is an advantage.
