What we’re looking for
- Review and correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, and syntax errors in varied texts.
- Identify and resolve inconsistencies in style, tone, and formatting while maintaining editorial neutrality.
- Apply knowledge of typography, structural layout, and digital print production workflows.
- Use Microsoft Word, Google Docs, and Adobe Acrobat for proofreading and text editing.
- Collaborate with authors, editors, and designers to clarify ambiguous content.
- Follow style guides and publication requirements.
- Manage multiple assignments and meet strict deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
- Keep current with language rules, grammar changes, and editorial best practices.
- Conduct consistency checks across publications.
- Maintain proofreading records and provide process-improvement feedback.
