What you’ll be doing
About the Role
We are looking for a part-time, on-call developer to help maintain and improve our AI application and client automation systems. The workload is irregular. You may help troubleshoot bugs, develop features, connect APIs, build automations, or work on voice AI systems. This is not an eight-hour-per-day position.
You should be comfortable using Claude Code or Codex to develop software while still understanding and explaining the code you produce.
Responsibilities
Compensation
$100 monthly retainer covering up to 10 hours
$6 per hour for additional work
$8 per hour for agreed urgent same-day work
Initial 30-day trial
Fully remote with an irregular workload

What we’re looking for
Required
Preferred but not required
- Experience using Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar AI coding tools
- JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python
- Full-stack web application development
- API and webhook integrations
- Debugging and maintaining existing applications
- Git and GitHub
- PostgreSQL, Supabase, or similar databases
- n8n, Make, Zapier, or similar automation platforms
- Ability to understand and explain AI-generated code
- Clear written and spoken English
Preferred but not required
- Vapi, Retell, LiveKit, Twilio, or other voice AI platforms
- OpenAI or Anthropic APIs
- React or Next.js
- Node.js or FastAPI
- Docker and cloud deployment
