Marqon Prints requires an experienced textile designer for its sublimation printing unit in North Karachi Industrial Area.
Responsibilities
- Create sublimation textile designs and patterns.
- Develop all-over and repeat patterns, motifs, dupatta, kurti, and apparel designs.
- Prepare complete print-ready TIFF files for the printing operator.
- Ensure accurate color matching, color correction, and print color accuracy.
- Coordinate with the printing operator and provide accurate files for production.
- Handle pattern creation, design development, print preparation, and related design work.
- Make design revisions and complete work according to production requirements.
What we’re looking for
- Strong command of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator for textile artwork and production files.
- Practical understanding of sublimation printing, color separation, resolution, bleed, sizing, and file preparation.
- Ability to create seamless patterns, repeat layouts, placement graphics, and coordinated color variations.
- Knowledge of color theory, color matching, typography, composition, and print quality control.
- Ability to convert concepts, references, and briefs into original commercial designs.
- Strong attention to detail when checking artwork scale, alignment, edges, and garment placement.
- Organized workflow, reliable file management, and ability to handle multiple design tasks.
- Clear communication and effective collaboration with production and creative teams.
- Portfolio demonstrating textile, apparel, sublimation, surface-pattern, or print design.
