What you’ll be doing
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate construction cost estimates and quantity takeoffs.
- Review architectural, structural, and engineering drawings.
- Prepare BOQs and detailed material quantity schedules.
- Estimate material, labor, equipment, and other project costs.
- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and tender documents.
- Identify discrepancies, missing information, and potential cost issues.
- Assist with tender and bid preparation.
- Maintain organized estimating records and documentation.
- Coordinate with the team to clarify project requirements and deliver estimates on time.
- Review completed estimates for accuracy and consistency.
What we’re looking for
- 2+ years of experience in construction estimating or quantity surveying.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and costs.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Experience with quantity takeoffs and BOQ preparation.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with estimating/takeoff software such as Bluebeam, CostX, PlanSwift, or similar.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Good written and verbal English communication.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely.
