What you’ll be doing
Luminary Sky Media is a creative gaming software house in Rawalpindi focused on building engaging, high-quality mobile and PC games. We are seeking a Game Developer to contribute to the design, development, testing, and refinement of interactive game features.
- Develop gameplay systems, mechanics, controls, interfaces, and supporting tools for mobile and PC games.
- Translate design concepts and technical requirements into clean, maintainable code.
- Integrate art, audio, animation, effects, and other game assets into playable builds.
- Debug issues, optimize performance, and test features across target devices and platforms.
- Collaborate with designers, artists, and developers to improve game quality and player experience.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, sprint planning, and continuous product improvements.
What we’re looking for
- Proficiency in a game development engine such as Unity.
- Strong programming ability in C# or another relevant game development language.
- Understanding of gameplay programming, object-oriented design, physics, animation, UI systems, and game state management.
- Experience integrating assets, handling input systems, and building responsive controls for mobile or PC platforms.
- Ability to debug, profile, optimize, and resolve gameplay and performance issues.
- Working knowledge of version control systems such as Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Good problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and time-management skills.
- A portfolio, prototype, published game, or demonstrable personal project is highly valued.
