We are seeking a motivated WordPress Intern to support our development and website delivery team. This entry-level internship offers practical experience building, updating, and maintaining WordPress websites in a professional agency environment.

- Assist with installing, configuring, and updating WordPress themes and plugins.
- Help create and format website pages, blog posts, menus, forms, and media content.
- Support basic website customization using HTML and CSS.
- Perform content updates, layout checks, broken-link reviews, and responsive testing.
- Assist with basic on-page SEO implementation, including headings, metadata, image optimization, and internal links.
- Help troubleshoot common WordPress issues and escalate technical problems when needed.
- Coordinate with SEO, content, and design team members to complete client website tasks accurately.
What we’re looking for
- Basic understanding of WordPress administration, themes, plugins, pages, posts, and media libraries.
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS for simple formatting and layout adjustments.
- Familiarity with responsive design principles and testing websites on desktop and mobile screens.
- Ability to follow website content, formatting, and quality guidelines carefully.
- Basic understanding of SEO concepts such as headings, metadata, internal linking, URLs, and image alt text.
- Comfort with learning new plugins, page builders, and website tools.
- Strong attention to detail when checking links, content, layouts, and website functionality.
- Good written communication, teamwork, organization, and willingness to receive feedback.
- Basic troubleshooting ability and a proactive approach to completing assigned tasks.
