Encom is a Karachi-based industrial heating solutions provider supplying and supporting coal boilers, coal-fired steam boilers, thermal oil boilers, burners, and related equipment for industrial clients.
We are seeking a DAE (Mechanical) professional to support mechanical operations, equipment servicing, installation activities, and customer-focused technical work. The successful candidate will contribute to reliable equipment performance by applying sound mechanical practices, following safety procedures, and coordinating effectively with supervisors, technicians, and client representatives.

The successful candidate will contribute to reliable equipment performance by applying sound mechanical practices, following safety procedures, and coordinating effectively with supervisors, technicians, and client representatives.
- Assist with installation, inspection, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of boilers, burners, pumps, valves, piping, and associated mechanical systems.
- Read mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, layouts, and technical specifications.
- Perform measurements, basic troubleshooting, alignment, lubrication, and component replacement as required.
- Support site surveys, equipment testing, preventive maintenance, and preparation of service observations.
- Coordinate with senior engineers and site teams to complete work according to quality, safety, and schedule requirements.
- Maintain tools, work records, inspection notes, and material requirements accurately.
What we’re looking for
- Diploma-level mechanical knowledge covering thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, pumps, valves, piping, and industrial machinery.
- Practical understanding of boilers, burners, thermal oil systems, steam systems, and mechanical maintenance is preferred.
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, equipment manuals, and basic technical specifications.
- Competence in using measuring tools and common mechanical workshop and maintenance equipment.
- Basic troubleshooting skills for leaks, vibration, overheating, pressure issues, alignment problems, and component wear.
- Strong commitment to industrial safety, permit procedures, housekeeping, and proper use of personal protective equipment.
- Clear communication, teamwork, disciplined documentation, and willingness to work at industrial client sites in Karachi.
