What you’ll be doing

Sth Consultants is seeking an ACCA-qualified Accountant to support UK-based clients through an outsourcing setup.

This is an office-based role in Karachi, with occasional remote working when required. Working hours will be aligned with UK business hours.

The successful candidate will:

Prepare UK bookkeeping and accounts.
Complete VAT returns and UK tax returns, including Self Assessment and Corporation Tax.
Manage Companies House filings and compliance activities.
Apply a sound understanding of UK accounting and tax regulations.
Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues in written, spoken, and listening interactions.
Work independently while maintaining strong attention to detail and accurate records.

Professional references will be verified, and a guarantor may be required at the time of joining. Immediate availability is preferred.

What we’re looking for

ACCA qualification
At least one year of experience working with UK-based clients in an outsourcing environment
Practical experience in UK bookkeeping and accounts preparation
Experience preparing VAT returns and UK tax returns, including Self Assessment and Corporation Tax
Knowledge of Companies House filings and compliance
Hands-on experience with Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, IRIS, or TaxCalc
Good understanding of UK accounting and tax regulations
Excellent written, spoken, and listening English communication skills
Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail
