Medical Billing Virtual Assistant

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Virtual Assistant (VA) with strong experience in Managing Front desk operation, insurance verification, patient communication and appointment scheduling. Experience with Therapy Notes is a strong plus. The ideal candidate should be well organized, tech-savvy, and capable of managing the above tasks easily.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform insurance eligibility and benefits verification for new and existing patients.
• Handle patient billing-inquiries professionally and provide necessary support.
• Maintain updated records, billing logs, and documentation.
• Assist providers with billing-related administrative tasks.
• Use Therapy Notes (if experienced) for scheduling, documentation, and billing workflows.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance in all work processes.
• Collect patient payment.
• Scheduling appointments and following up with the patient.

• Scheduling appointments and following up with the patient.

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Virtual Assistant.
• Familiarity with Therapy Notes or willingness to learn it quickly.
• Strong understanding of insurance processes (PPO/Commercial, Medicaid, Medicare).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficiency with online tools: EHR/EMR systems, billing portals, spreadsheets, and email.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet remote work environment.
