Job Description
a) Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners
b) Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance upgrades
c) Talking to clients and computer users to determine the nature of problems
d) Responding to breakdowns
e) Investigating, diagnosing and solving computer software and hardware faults
f) Repairing equipment and replacing parts
g) Agreeing timescales
h) Obtaining replacement or specialist components, fixtures or fittings
i) Checking computer equipment for electrical safety
j) Maintaining records of software licenses
k) Managing stocks of equipment, consumables and other supplies.
l) Managing Desktop Application Support for Clients in Unit.
m) Tackling Hardware Complaints and coordination with Vendors for repair and warranties.
n) Managing branch connectivity with data center and coordination with ISP if applicable
o) In-house applications (Fees, Iscala, SIMs) support
