Divisional Manager Procurement

We are looking for Divisional Manager Procurement for our manufacturing industry client based in Karachi.

Education: MBA / BE (Mechanical) & International recognized certification CSCP / CIPS
Experience: 12 15 years of experience in material management, inventory control & SCM

Duties & Responsibilities:
Create & maintain short & long term procurement plansIndentify, evaluate and capitalize on opportunities to reduce purchasing cost by improving the organization’s buying patterns & supply channels.
Lead, direct, evaluate and develop a team of sourcing manager / buyers other professional to ensure that procurement activities meet established targets and standards.
Utilize lean technique and initiatives to create value across the supply chain through, material design, optimization and cost reduction.
Work with colleague to continually communicate the real world financial impacts of lead times.
Acquires & maintain understanding of market price trends & supplier technology road map.
Ensure procurement is providing customer oriented service to the business by establishing credibility & relationship.
Foster a positive, diverse & inclusive culture through education, communication and initiatives.
Coach the team to achieve maximum potential; develop and coordinate learning and development plans to transfer knowledge and provide career growth.
Conduct assessments to identify procurement challenges & implement solutions.
Communication and applies procurement guidelines across the business & recommended changes to support business need.
Analyzes data, products reports, monitors KPI’s determines compliance to guide priorities, measure progress & communicates results.
Engage in strategic negotiation to achieve favorable conditions & strong supplier partnership.
Supervise negotiation and implement any resulting framework agreement.
Ensure compliance with the guideline & framework agreements.
Endure that standards and solutions are rolled out and used.
Ensure adequate leadership for the development of framework agreements and sourcing actions across the board.
Ensure that CSR, sustainability and innovation are themes in all activities.
Seek year over year process & efficiency improvement.
Maintain a high degree of ethic in the purchasing process.
Report compliance issue if any to the management.
