Job Description
- Carry out meetings with the persons or group of persons desiring to obtain loan, which were identified by the Credit Officer (MF) of Unit Office.
- Receive the loan applications and documents from the borrowers.
- Ensure that loan applications received from the borrowers are properly applied and supported with all required documentation as stipulated in the CWCD policies and procedures and meet the stipulated criteria.
- Ensure that applications and documents are properly signed/thumb imprisoned by the respective borrower.
- Review that credit case/proposal is complete in all respect.
- Ensure that credit arrangement offered by the borrower is within the approved parameters i.e., amount, period, repayment schedule, markup, etc.
- Ensure that previous loan has been fully paid off by the borrower prior to processing of fresh applications.
- Forward loan application and relevant documentation application to District Office for need assessment and approval.
- Maintain database in all respects i.e., disbursement, recovery, etc.
- Ensure the delivery of cheque to the borrowers and obtain acknowledgement from them.
- Conduct post disbursement review as well as MIS data output review.
- Ensure during periodic review visit to borrowers that amounts are utilized for the same purpose as described/agreed in the credit proposal/application.
- Take proactive measures for repayments and maintain adequate diary record to follow-up the new borrowers, dues, over dues, etc.
- Maintain a schedule of due payment from the customers and inform them at least one week in advance of payment due date.
- Inform daily performance of payment collection to District Office.
Job Specification
Successful candidates must strong personality, honesty, integrity, organizational and leadership skills with the ability to effectively communicate and interface with all levels of employees and customers. A Bachelor's Degree in Commerce is desired but not necessary.
