Job Description
1. Teaching Learning:- · To plan of monthly and weekly breakdown of syllabus / unit plan.
- · To plan lessons according to the learning standards set in the concerned learning area.
- · To prepare lessons efficiently so as to provide learning environment to each child.
- · To share learning objectives with students.
- · Appropriate use of print and non-print resources (IT, Library, Teaching aids, Community, Laboratories, etc.)
2. Class room Management:- · To organize learning environment e.g. grouping, working rules, and equal opportunities for children, prompt solving of problems.
3. Pastoral:- · To set high standards of self esteem and mutual respects for each and every individual (children, colleagues, parents and non-teaching staff, visitors etc.)
- · To understand, address, facilitate and respond to individual child’s needed.
- · To observe closely, record and be attentive to individual need at all times, with regards to their various learning difficulties, capacities, skills, interest, attitude and behaviors.
- · To help children overcome their weakness and identify strengths and build on it.
4. Assessment & Feedback:- · To check and marking of students written and overall class work & homework regularly and accurately.
- · To respond to students overall strengths and weakness.
- · To prepare a variety of assessment tools appropriate to teaching learning objectives.
- · To maintain registers e.g. attendance mark registers, activity calendars, report card etc.
- · To prepare papers for bi-monthly tests and exams.
5. Professional development and self evaluation:- · To Evaluate of own needs and professional progress.
- · To attend training programs, workshops, meeting, seminars etc.
- · To implement and disseminate own professional expertise and exposure.
- · To initiate and participate in school development programs.
6. Relationship with students, parents and colleagues:- · To develop strong partnership with parents and community for the overall well-being and development of students.
- · To provide equal opportunities for all students.
- · To demonstrate patience and respect while interacting with students.
- · To deal with parents tactfully and courteously.
- · To treat peers respectfully and courteously.

Other responsibilities:- · Any other work assigned by Head or anyone designated by Head.
