Job Description
Conducting research to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality ·
Liaising between suppliers, manufacturers, other stakeholders·
Identifying potential suppliers, visiting existing suppliers, and building and maintaining good relationships with them·
Online & physical purchasing of building material & equipment from both local and international markets ·
Negotiating and agreeing contracts and monitoring their progress, checking the quality of service provided·
Processing payments and invoices·
Evaluating bids and making recommendations based on commercial and technical factors·
Any other relevant task assigned by the supervisor/ Management
Job Specification
Master’s or bachelor’s degree in fields of supply chain, engineering, or manufacturing ·
Minimum 6-8 years of experience with relevant history of purchasing building material & equipment·
Excellent research knowledge of identifying both local & international clients·
Experience of dealing with both local & international clients·
Potential to assume responsibility with integrity and competence·
Excellent Writing & speaking communication skills·
Excellent analytical & interpersonal skills
