Job Description
Infrastructure Engineer As a Infrastructure Engineer at Bilytica you will be working build and improve our core back end platform.
You will work shoulder-to-shoulder with our engineering teams to design and build the next generation of web applications and systems infrastructure, focusing on automation, availability and performance, and above all efficiency.
Engineering responsibilities:
Improve the reliability and efficiency of traffic management systems.
Build tools to automate scaling of our clusters.
Build tools to automatically provision and monitor frameworks like Spark, Neo4j and Hadoop
Secure our core platform.
Build and maintain high-performance, fault-tolerant, and scalable distributed systems in the context of Quant service-oriented architecture.
Troubleshoot complex distributed systems problems and develop solutions that have a significant impact.
Work cross-functionally with various engineering teams.
Write performing, maintainable, clear, and concise code and accompanying documentation.
Job Specification
Requirements:
Large scale, high availability, low latency systems development experience in C, C++, Java, Scala.
Deep knowledge and understanding of Linux, and Operating Systems architecture.
BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
Understanding of DNS, CDN and application load balancing fundamentals.
Track record of practical problem solving, excellent communication, and documentation skills
Strong knowledge of network security
Things We Like:
Familiarity with networking concepts.
Previous control plane software experience.
Working knowledge of BGP and at least one IGP.
Experience with distributed systems, performance analysis, web infrastructure, and/or large-scale data processing
