Application Security Analyst

• Have to perform penetration testing of web applications/services to identify vulnerabilities and recommend safeguards as preemptive measures.
• Android and iOS applications Security Testing. Mitigation/Fixation of security issues found during testing.
• Review software source code to identify potential security issues and vulnerabilities that could be exploited by hackers to gain unauthorized access to data and system resources.
• Maintain suitable knowledge of threats, risk assignment, remediation strategies, security tools and testing techniques.
• Responsible for assessing, reporting and auditing of IT security vulnerabilities.
• Performing all tasks assigned by Team Leader Information Security/ Manager Information Security.

• Bachelor degree or higher, technical discipline preferred.
• Minimum one year of working experience in IT Security, preferably with exposure to application security testing (source code review and application penetration tests).
• Working knowledge of Security principles, techniques and technologies.
• Understanding of various web application frameworks such as ASP.NET\
• Web Server configuration knowledge: Microsoft IIS
• Strong analytical skills and efficient problem solving.
• CEH or other information security certifications.
• Application development background and security knowledge example of languages include C, C#, C++, Java, J2EE
• Vulnerability and threat management experience
• Experience with various security tools and products
• Vulnerability analysis and application reversing skills
• Willingness to work in shift rotations
