• Develop new websites and web systems
• Build and maintain reusable code and libraries for future use
• Write clean, well commented, well designed WordPress and Shopify themes and plugins
• Troubleshoot, test, and modify WordPress and Shopify themes ensure strong optimization and functionality
• Optimize code for maximum speed and scalability
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle (Initial concepts, beta, QA/Testing, Deployment, Updates, Maintenance, etc.)
• Follow industry best practices staying current and continuously learning

• A passion for great design and coding practices
• Deep understanding of core Wordpress and Shopify functionality
• Familiarity with common Wordpress and Shopify plugins/extensions (WooCommerce, WPML, ACF, CMB2, Visual Composer, etc.)
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Experience with LAMP stack and Javascript (ECMAScript 5+) required
• Demonstrable knowledge of front-end web technologies including HTML5, CSS/SASS/LESS, Javascript/jQuery, AJAX, etc.
• Responsive design knowledge (Bootstrap 3+/Foundation/Custom)
• Version control tools and of developing web services (GIT)
• Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, Ebay, etc)
• Familiarity with Photoshop is a plus.
