* Collecting of garment samples, trims and different types of swatches from the vendors
* Planning for new season sampling and production orders
* Execution of running orders (production)
* Sourcing of materials for new development
* Preparation of material requirement
* Preparing Purchase order
* Costing and negotiation with trim & accessory suppliers
* Handle quality issues for sampling as well as production
* Preparing inspection schedule for shipment and notifying to quality department
* Maintaining files and Accounts
* Updating Time and Action calendar

* Being a garment merchandiser, you should be capable of executing all related merchandising activities of the given orders or the customers
* You should be able to handle it with care and professionally
* Part of the duties is to prepare the samples and the budget and both of them are for approval
* Coordinating as well as following with the production and fabric team is expected from you
* Constant update and interaction with the supplies is needed
* You should also go checkups and follow ups with the commercial departments regarding the on time fabric and trims delivery
* You should also make sure that the functions of all related processes are running smoothly
* Reports daily to the administration or the corporate office regarding the current status and the like is also part of a garment merchandiser’s job
